About this project:

The 3 Legacy Foundation was born from a deeply personal story involving a family’s beloved dog, Louie, who needed a life-saving leg amputation. This experience shed light on the financial burdens many pet owners encounter in obtaining necessary medical care for their pets. Prompted by this, the foundation was established, and efforts to create a brand identity and website that exude trustworthiness and reliability were initiated. The aim was to establish a visual and digital presence that confidently assures potential donors about the meaningful and efficient allocation of their donations. Emphasizing both professionalism and compassion, the foundation seeks to inspire contributions towards their cause, thereby ensuring pets in need receive essential healthcare services. In doing so, the foundation aims to cultivate a sense of trust and authenticity within the community it serves.

Reflecting the spirit of Louie, the brand identity of the 3 Legacy Foundation is characterized by trustworthiness, heartwarming appeal, and a playful essence. It was crucial for the identity to not only embody these attributes but also to reassure donors of the responsible and impactful use of their gifts. The heartwarming element highlights the significant difference donations make in the lives of dogs and their owners, while the playful aspect honors the joy and happiness that dogs add to our lives. The clever contrast in the type used in the logos ingeniously highlights the foundation’s name play on words, emphasizing its focus on three-legged dogs.

The foundation’s web design aligns seamlessly with the brand identity, offering intuitive navigation and a vibe that’s as warm and inviting as the brand itself. The design strategy emphasizes clarity, warmth, and engagement. A comforting and soft typeface was selected to gracefully exude warmth and emotion, with an alternative logo showcasing an endearing illustration of Louie, the heart and soul behind this initiative. The color scheme merges dark and soft blues to convey trust and security, complemented by a bright orange for a touch of fun and energy. The typography palette, featuring clear, joyful sans-serif fonts and a playful handwritten style, along with a welcoming yet lively pattern design, perfectly encapsulates the foundation's mission.
