Fun, but never childish

Designed for dance educators, this identity combines playful energy with professional clarity—so the brand feels just as smart as the products behind it.

The Challenge

Dance Dance Hooray (DDH) is a go-to resource for dance educators, offering everything from playful games to full lesson plans. The brand needed to reflect its joyful, developmentally appropriate approach—without veering into anything too juvenile. DDH’s audience had to see the brand as a trusted partner in their classrooms, not just another teaching tool.

The Approach

We built a bold, expressive identity that balances energy with credibility. Typography was key—modern and dynamic, with just enough playfulness. The palette leads with kelly green (growth, harmony), paired with a punch of orange (creativity) and grounded by a soft peach (warmth and reassurance).
To bring movement into the mix, I created a lively pattern that reflects the rhythm, fun, and creativity dance educators bring to their students every day.

The Result

A welcoming, polished brand that speaks directly to dance educators—one that says, “This is going to make your job easier, more creative, and more fun.” The new identity is vibrant, clear, and built to support DDH’s mission: helping teachers focus on what they love most—teaching dance.
