Design Stages

Like me, my design process is organized and straightforward! Communication is clear right from the start so you know what to expect at each stage of the project.

Phase 1: Complimentary Consultation

During the initial meeting, we have a one-on-one call to discuss your business, the goals for your brand and the timeline of the project. I will follow up the call with a custom proposal outlining the details we discussed and confirming the scope of the project.

Phase 2: Brand Strategy

To kick off the project, we will start with brand strategy. This step serves to define, refine and focus on your company’s vision, values and personality. I will review and analyze existing designs and materials, your business’ competitors and examine market trends in your industry to help better determine how to set your business apart.

Phase 3: Mood Board

During the Mood Board phase, I’ll assemble a visual collage that captures your brand’s essence. This includes selecting colors, textures, and styles that embody the personality and tone of your brand. The mood board is a strategic visual guide that sets the design process’s direction and serves as the foundation for our creative exploration.

Phase 4: Brand Design

I’ll turn the Brand Strategy and Mood Board foundations into your concrete brand identity. My focus will be on crafting logos, graphics, fonts, and colors to form a cohesive and harmonious whole that captures your brand’s essence. This phase includes creating a detailed presentation, with sample layouts and mockups, showing how each element blends to articulate your brand’s message and tone.

Phase 5: Refinements

This stage centers around your engagement and feedback. Following the presentation of the initial brand identity design, we’ll use this time to refine and perfect it with your input.

Phase 5: Delivery & Celebration

As we near the end of our project, I’m finalizing your comprehensive set of final digital files. These will include a variety of sizes, colors, and formats to suit all your future needs. Alongside, I’m crafting a custom style guide, detailing your brand’s specifications and offering tips for effective, consistent use. Any additional elements included in your package (business cards, menus, brochures, packaging, web design, etc.) will be designed at this time. During our final meeting, I’ll guide you through these digital assets and the style guide, ensuring you’re well-prepared to apply your new brand identity across various platforms.

Branding is creating a unique, cohesive look that reflects your company’s values and aspirations.
